Job summary

Ignite Rehab, operating as Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, seeks a Part-time Physical Therapist to provide high-quality in-home care in Ocean County, NJ, including Toms River. The role offers flexible scheduling and benefits, with a typical workload of 20 visits per week.

All levels of experience are welcome; new graduates will be trained. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and document visits while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in NJ is required or eligible.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel to patients' homes within the assigned geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area.
• Provide 1:1 treatment.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Deliver care that aligns with professional standards and the plan of care.
• Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques.
• Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function.
• Perform and document an initial exam and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit.
• Evaluate effects of treatment and adjust to maximize benefit.
• Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Program Graduate
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.
• Preferred Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $62,000-$75,000. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
