Job summary

Ignite Rehab is seeking a motivated part-time Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care across Ocean County, including Toms River. You will deliver 1:1 therapy, develop plans of care, and work within a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Applicants must be a NJ-licensed OT or eligible, with First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications. Flexible schedule and mentorship for new graduates are offered within a progressive, patient-centered program.

Qualifications

• Must have OT license in New Jersey or eligible.
• First Aid, AED and CPR certifications required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your geographic area.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans per physician orders.
• Deliver care in line with standards and plans of care.
• Educate family members and caregivers on therapy techniques.
• Plan and run OT programs to restore or improve function.
• Perform initial exams and document findings.
• Provide timely documentation for each visit.
• Assess progress and adjust treatments for maximum benefit.
• Willingness to treat geriatric patients.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate part time (with benefits!) Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care. • Job Type: Part time w/ benefits, 20-visits per week
• Location: Ocean County, including Toms River

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area
• Provide 1:1 treatment
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
• Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care
• Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques
• Plan, and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
• Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
• Must be willing to treat geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
• Home health experience is preferred but not required - We will provide you with a mentor to help with documentation and compliance.
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory
• Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $62,000.00-$70,000.00. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
