Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring caregivers in the Canton area to provide compassionate in-home support. If you’re reliable, have a caring nature, and enjoy helping others, join our award‑winning team and receive RN supervision in the field.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience are welcome.
• Experience in home care is a plus but not required; kindness matters most.
• Strong communication and a caring nature are essential.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are needed.
• Ability to pass background checks reflects trust and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals to ensure healthy nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities to brighten their day.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn and provide excellent care.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Occasionally transport clients to appointments or errands; miles reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; your support helps our clients maintain dignity and comfort

Requirements
