Job summary

Ignite Rehab is seeking a motivated full-time Occupational Therapist to provide in-home care in Bergen County, New Jersey. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with individualized plans and fostering communication with caregivers.

A competitive salary of $90,000.00-$110,000.00 is offered, along with professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment. The position allows for flexibility in scheduling patient visits any day of the week.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Program.
• Current occupational therapy license in New Jersey or eligible.
• Must hold First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver 1:1 treatment for patients.
• Document and adjust treatments based on patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Accept and treat patients within your designated geographic area
• Provide 1:1 treatment
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs
• Deliver care that aligns with professional standards, agency policies, and the prescribed plan of care
• Educate family members, home health aides, and other caregivers on proper therapy techniques
• Plan and carry out occupational therapy programs to maintain, improve or restore physical function, relieve pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients
• Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention
• Provide timely and accurate documentation for each visit
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
• Must be willing to treat geriatric patients

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey or eligible
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications
• Home health experience is preferred but not required; we will provide a mentor to help with documentation and compliance
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within the assigned geographic territory
• Strong communication skills between patients, support staff, and management, including timely responses via text, email, phone, etc.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$110,000.00. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications, and geography. Additionally, this position is eligible for incentive compensation. The Company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
