Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care for individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities, helping them live as independently as possible.

As a DSP, you will support daily living skills, participate in community activities, and document care while promoting dignity and independence. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful background check and required training
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community
• Assisting with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation
• Encouraging participation in social and community activities
• Helping clients achieve personal goals and celebrate progress
• Promoting choice, independence and self-advocacy
• Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress
• Communicating with team members to ensure consistent, quality support
