Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in your community TODAY! You will provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible, in homes and community settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance (primary or secondary).
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Preferred: experience supporting individuals with I/DD and/or autism; familiarity with ASP/PSS and behavior-support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Accurately document care, activities, and progress.
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
