Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Houston, TX, is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide personal care within Eagle’s Trace, a gated retirement community. You’ll assist with daily living, housekeeping, meals, and escort residents to events and appointments.

Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. This on-site role offers benefits and growth opportunities within a growing national senior living network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Certified as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant, Geriatric Nursing Assistant, or as per State and Federal law and regulations.
• Experience as a care provider serving the senior population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support residents with routine housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, pet care, closet organization, and kitchen chores.
• Escort residents to appointments and social/ social activities.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships.
• Follow and execute Infection Control & Prevention practices.
• Notify office/nurse promptly of any changes in a resident’s condition.
• Maintain competency in required job skills and knowledge.

As a caregiver, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, handle housekeeping and meal preparation, and escort residents to appointments and social events.

Compensation:Commensurate with experience, between $15.00 - $16.00/hr

How you will make an impact
