Job summary

Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living in West Houston, Texas, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident homes within our continuing care retirement community. You will clean private living spaces and common areas, using specialized equipment to keep living environments fresh, comfortable and welcoming for residents and their families.

This full-time role offers a 35-hour week, Thursday through Monday, 10 am to 5 pm, with competitive starting pay of $14.25 per hour and a benefits

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in residential or commercial settings preferred.
• Ability to safely operate carpet and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident's homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

Job description

Location: Eagle's Trace by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Housekeeper for our gated retirement community. All of our clients are located within our community, so no travel is involved!

Compensation

Commensurate with experience, starting at $14.25 / hr

Schedule

35 hours per week. Work Thursday through Monday from 10am-5pm

What you will need
