Job summary

Eagles Trace by Erickson Senior Living is seeking caring CNAs to support residents in a continuing care setting in Houston, TX. Part-time shifts cover mornings, evenings, and nights, with compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, administering medications, and collaborating with a clinical team to meet residents’ needs promptly. Eligible applicants must meet state requirements and demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current CNA certification for the state.
• Current Medication Administration certification per state requirements.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Medication Administration experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans with focus on preferences and routines.
• Provide assistance with resident activities and programs.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to address residents’ needs in a timely manner.
• Administer medications to residents.

• Part time / 16 hrs Morning 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Part time / 16 hrs Evening 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Part time / 24 hrs Nights 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation

Commensurate with experience, between $17.05 - $19.00 / hr

Required certifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certifications

How you will make an impact

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current CNA certification for the state in which you are working
• Current certification for Medication Administration - per state requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
