Job summary

Abundant Love Home Care Services LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Caregiver to join our team. This role provides personalized in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

As a caregiver, you will assist with activities of daily living, coordinate with supervisors, and contribute to a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or personal care aide experience preferred.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers and ambulation for safety and comfort
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning and tidying living spaces
• Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditions
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
• Transport clients to appointments, errands and community activities
• Document and report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly

• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient, and empathetic demeanor
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans with minimal supervision
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
