Job summary

Abundant Love Home Care Services LLC is seeking a compassionate Home Caregiver to join our team in Hickory and surrounding areas. Provide personalized in-home care and support, helping clients with daily living activities and companionship.

This role offers flexible scheduling, weekend options, full and part-time opportunities, and opportunities for advancement along with training and development to grow alongside our supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home care, or PCA experience preferred.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal skills with warmth and empathy.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans with minimal supervision.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and tidying living spaces
• Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditions
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Document and report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly
