Right at Home Torrance is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to provide personalized in-home care and companionship to seniors and vulnerable adults in their own homes.

As part of a mission-driven team, you will help with daily activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, grooming, and medication reminders while supporting mobility and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Home Care Aide via CA DPSS.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Comfortable reading, writing, and speaking English.
• A licensed driver with insured transportation.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Must live in the South Bay area.

Responsibilities

• Help clients move safely within their home.
• Provide light housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, laundry).
• Prepare nourishing meals and snacks.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming and hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Support mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide engaging companionship - talking, music, puzzles, and more.
• Specialized dementia care.
