Job summary

Caring Hands Homecare is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide in Marlboro Township, NJ. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, following a care plan and helping with daily activities while building trusting relationships.

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential. Prior home health or hospice experience is a plus; driver’s license is preferred to support client visits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited New Jersey Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medication reminders and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
