Job summary

Caring Hands Homecare is seeking a Home Care Aide to work directly with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan and providing personalized, attentive care. You will build genuine relationships while staying detail-oriented and organized to meet patient needs.

Strong verbal and written communication is essential; prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. A caring, patient-centered approach is valued, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
• One year prior professional experience in home health or hospice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report to the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.

Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program

• One year prior professional experience


• Driver’s license preferred
