Job summary

Clayton Homes in Bonham, TX is seeking a Home Building Team Member to perform production tasks across departments in the home building process. The role follows standard production methods and safe work habits to keep efficiency high and quality consistent.

You will work weekdays, first shift, as part of a team ensuring OSHA rules are followed, assets are protected, and processes run smoothly. Training and growth opportunities exist within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Job Status: Full-Time / Hourly
