Job summary

Clayton Homes in the United States is seeking Home Building Team Members to perform manufacturing production operations across our home-building process. You will follow standard methods and safe work practices to keep production efficient and quality high.

The role reports to the Area Coordinator in Production and works Weekdays, First Shift as a full-time hourly employee. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, willingness to transfer across departments, clear communication, and the

Qualifications

• Teamwork in a manufacturing setting.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s assets, protecting them from damage and reporting maintenance needs and cleanliness.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan manufacturing activities by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying tool maintenance, and communicating quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
