Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Production Team Member to support home-building operations on weekdays, first shift. The role reports to the Area Coordinator and is a full-time, hourly position within the Production department.

You will perform manufacturing tasks following standard methods, prioritizing safety and quality as you contribute to efficient production across departments. Training and benefits accompany a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to product products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
