Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Production Team Member to support manufacturing operations in home building projects. You will follow standard production methods, maintain safety, and help ensure homes meet specifications and codes.

Responsibilities include safe work practices, teamwork to hit productivity goals, asset stewardship, and clear communication with supervisors. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to read blueprints when needed.

Qualifications

• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50lbs, as well as other physical duties as needed.
• You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.
• Must be able to walk or stand at least 8 hours
• Bending, squatting, and stooping are required
• Must be able to lift above shoulder level and reach to floor using proper lifting techniques

Responsibilities

• Safety: Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and compliant.
• Productivity: Work in a team environment to meet quality and throughput targets.
• Stewardship: Protect company assets and maintain a clean, orderly area.
• Planning: Assist leaders to plan manufacturing activities and flag shortages.
• Attendance: Meet all attendance requirements and be present at shift start.
