Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. in Roslindale/Somerville, MA, seeks a Youth Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist to deliver home-based services for children ages 3–21 within the Safe at Home program.

You will meet families in community settings and provide therapeutic training and support over several weeks to months. You will assess clients, identify treatment needs, design plans with outcomes, and collaborate with families to achieve goals in collaboration with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Criminal Justice, or Psychology.
• Experience with behavior management systems, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management and providing individual, group and/or family therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Department of Social Services and other local child and family advocate agencies.
• Must have Driver’s License and car.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications.
