Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers is seeking a Youth Therapeutic Training & Support Specialist for the Safe at Home Program in the Somerville/Roslindale area. The role provides individual and family-based services, crisis intervention, and case management to youth aged 3–21 in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with families to meet defined outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social work, education, justice or psychology.
• Experience with behavior management, treatment planning, crisis intervention and case management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of social services and local child/family agencies.
• Must have driver's license and access to a car.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Computer literate, MS Office; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initial assessment and evaluation of new clients and families.
• Identify treatment needs and barriers to growth and development.
• Work with supervisor and colleagues to design treatment plans with outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients and family members to develop treatment objectives.
