Job summary

Elite Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home therapy in Florida. You will evaluate and treat communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders under physician orders and the plan of care.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient safety, independence, and quality of life, while maintaining documentation and Medicare compliance in home health settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in speech therapy; home health, acute care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background screening and all compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients’ homes.
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans and maintain progress notes.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team to improve safety and quality of life.
• Complete timely documentation and ensure compliance with Medicare/state regulations and agency policies.
