Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers in California.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering therapy in family homes, daycare centers, and community settings with flexible schedules, sign-on bonus, and mileage reimbursement. Must hold California SLP license; pediatric EI experience preferred; Spanish bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention is preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in homes, daycare centers and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA/state/federal regulations).
