Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PCU – Progressive Care Unit. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients, monitor evolving conditions, and collaborate with physicians, case managers and other team members.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of acute care or home health experience, a BSN preferred, and proficiency with EPIC and virtual health platforms.

Qualifications

• 2 years acute care or home health nursing experience required
• BSN preferred
• Experience in care coordination, triage or nursing leadership preferred
• Experience in program development preferred
• Experience in teaching self-care skills to patients and families preferred
• Recent, relevant home health experience preferred
• Experience using EPIC and virtual health platforms preferred
• Experience with IV therapy and knowledge of venous-access devices and ambulatory pumps preferred
