Job summary

VARIETY CARE INC. is seeking a SafeCare home-based services provider in Lawton, OK. This role delivers family-centered services in the home, adapting to family schedules and cultural needs while coordinating with supervisors.

You will work to reduce child abuse risk, support family stability, and meet required trainings, documentation, and weekly contact expectations in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field required. Prefer 1 year of related experience or a Master's in a closely related field.
• CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications required or obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation and Oklahoma driver's license with insurance.
• Weekly contact with families in community-based settings; occasional evenings/weekends.
• Must participate in required trainings and maintain confidentiality and documentation deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide SafeCare Model to qualifying families in their home environment.
• Coordinate with community resources and assist families with crisis stabilization.
• Develop parents' skills in child health, home safety, bonding, behavior management, and communication.
• Promote trauma-informed care and NorthCare values across services.
• Maintain timely clinical records and participate in trainings and meetings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field

Master's Degree in a closely related field

CPR certification

First Aid certification

Therapeutic Options certification
