Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to work with infants and toddlers in home and community settings. You will conduct developmental assessments and provide PT services using the Parent Coaching Model to support families in achieving developmental goals.

Qualifications

• California Physical Therapy (DPT) license required.
• Pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention).
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Deliver services in the child’s natural environment—homes, daycares, and community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
