Job summary

Sunny Days, Inc. is seeking Occupational Therapists for home-based Early Intervention services in California. Therapists provide OT to infants and toddlers in families’ homes and community settings, following IFSPs and using a family-centered coaching approach.

The role offers competitive hourly rates, a sign-on bonus (up to $1000), and flexible schedules with location options. A California OT license and pediatric EI experience are required, with bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license required.
• Pediatric EI experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
