Therapy 2000 in Texas is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join a home-based care team. You will evaluate children, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and partner with families to build effective home exercise programs. You’ll collaborate with local providers to ensure integrated care for each child.

The role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and strong tech skills, with a commitment to compassionate, family-centered therapy in the child’s familiar environment.

Qualifications

• Current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• Innovative spirit with a history of reliability.
• Ability to shift resources and priorities as needed.
• Proficiency with common workplace technology (laptop, email, web browser).
• Bonus points for pediatric OT experience, home-health setting, or feeding therapy certifications.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers within the patient’s medical neighborhood.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and related paperwork.
• Engage with agency staff to maintain alignment with expectations and standards.
• Comply with agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws for home-health pediatric OT.
