Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in Texas seeks a pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide compassionate, home-based therapy tailored to each child’s needs. You will assess, plan, and implement interventions in the child’s home, working closely with families and caregivers.

You will evaluate progress, adjust treatment plans with physicians’ orders, and coordinate care among medical professionals to support children’s growth and participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy license.
• Innovative and reliable with flexible prioritization.
• Proficient with common workplace tech (laptop, email, web browser).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care.
• Complete patient chart updates, progress summaries, and logs.
• Attend agency meetings to align with expectations and standards.
• Comply with agency policies and home-health regulations.
• Adhere to ethics codes and laws in pediatric home health.
