Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based care for pediatric and adult patients. This PRN role offers the independence to manage your availability while providing individualized therapy focused on each patient’s functional goals.

The position requires active Texas OT licensure, 1+ year of OT experience, and BLS/CPR certification, with access to a personal device and reliable internet to chart visits.

Qualifications

Active Texas Occupational Therapist license.
At least 1 year of OT experience.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Own device and reliable internet connection to access schedule and charting.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform in-home OT evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals.
Provide therapy and follow-up visits based on patient needs.
Supervise assigned COTAs and review their documentation.
Communicate with the care team regarding patient progress.

What You’ll Do

Perform in-home OT evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
Provide therapy and follow-up visits based on patient needs
Supervise assigned COTAs and review their documentation
Communicate with the care team regarding patient progress

What You Need

Active Texas Occupational Therapist license
At least 1 year of OT experience
Current BLS/CPR certification
