Ortho Physical Therapy (PT) Opportunity in North Texas is seeking a motivated outpatient Physical Therapist to deliver care in patients’ homes. You’ll work one-on-one with orthopedic patients, collaborating with surgeons and a hospital management team to ensure seamless care from surgery through recovery.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in TX.
• At least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic or home health experience preferred but not required.
• If new grad, training and mentorship available.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work independently in the field.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based PT services to post-surgical and orthopedic patients in their homes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physician assistants, and care managers to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, exercises, and prevention.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and implement tailored plans.
• Document care in line with outpatient standards and regulations.
• Participate in case reviews and care team meetings.
• Work with and supervise PTAs.
