Job summary

Maple Leaf HealthCare Center in Manchester, NH is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents throughout their rehabilitation journey. Work directly with a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.

What You'll Do: Carry out individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic exercises, assist with gait and balance training, track progress, and educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility.

Qualifications

• Active NH PTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the direction of a PT.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training.
• Assist with gait, balance, strength, endurance, and transfer activities.
• Track resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
