Job summary

This position emphasizes collaboration with the therapist, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and coordination with schools and other systems to help youth and families achieve better outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• 1 year experience in the CASSP system and experience in provision of behavioral interventions/training and/or experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability preferred.
• Driver’s License and personal vehicle required.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of identified families and youth, including Vineland or other adaptive functioning assessments.
• Assist the therapist in delivering individual, family, and group therapy with ESFT and behavioral interventions.
• Work collaboratively with the assigned therapist to provide comprehensive services and linkages.
• Complete a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) incorporating home, school and community.
• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage on a rotating basis.
• Deliver services in the home, including evening and weekend hours.
• Consult with psychiatrist and attend psychiatric appointments with youth and family.
• Collaborate with all systems involved with youth and family.
• Provide ongoing role modeling to youth and families.
• Provide crisis assessment, intervention and prevention.
• Provide case management and linkages to needed services.
