Job summary

The Home Base Teacher at Pinal Gila Community Child Services partners with families to deliver home-based Head Start services for children aged birth to five. You will implement curriculum, assess progress, advocate for families, and coordinate with Education, Health, Nutrition and Family services to ensure quality care.

Ideal candidates hold a Home visitation CDA or AA in social work or related field, with 1+ year experience in early care and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum CDA in home visitation or AA degree in social work or related field required.
• BA degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in Early Care & Education, Social Services, or Home Visitation.
• Proficient with computers, internet, and email.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers home-based services to families with children ages 0-5 and expectant families.
• Keeps informed of Head Start Performance Standards for home-based services.
• Partners with Education, Health, Nutrition, Disability, Family and community partners to support high-quality services.
• Promotes healthy parent-child relationships and supports families through Touchpoint approach.
• Plans and carries out home-based learning experiences aligned with Head Start standards.
