Job summary

Big Minds, Tiny Hands is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to provide home-based Early Intervention services to children birth to three with developmental delays.

This role may include providing Special Instruction and/or Social Work services, depending on qualifications and program needs. Training will be provided for qualified candidates who are new to Early Intervention or Special Instruction services.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Active New York State License (LMSW or LCSW) preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in working with young children and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based services to children and families.
• Deliver Special Instruction and/or Social Work services based on IFSP goals.
• Support social-emotional development and daily functioning.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and multidisciplinary team.
• Complete documentation and progress reports timely.
• Maintain compliance with NYS Early Intervention regulations.
