Job summary

MMCAA is seeking a capable coordinator to support the Early Head Start program in Midland, Michigan. You will assist the Director in coordinating and implementing program services with a focus on quality, compliance, and family engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, at least 1 year of experience with young children and families, and commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience with young children and families.
• Head Start experience preferred.
• Complete 15 hours of annual training plus CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogen training.
• Family Service Credential within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in coordinating and implementing the Early Head Start program.
• Ensure quality program service delivery and compliance with standards.
• Protect confidentiality of customers and families.
• Conduct weekly in-home visits and collaborate with families.
• Engage families through Home-Based activities and community partnerships.
• Input data into program databases and maintain records.
