Job summary

Mid Michigan Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Health Services Coordinator to help develop, supervise, and implement Head Start and GSRP health components in designated areas, in line with Head Start Performance Standards and state/federal mandates.

You will train staff, coordinate with community partners, maintain documentation, analyze data for program reporting, and support continuous quality improvement while promoting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma with 2 years in medical/clinical or office setting.
• Experience in Head Start, EHS, or related programs is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Nurse in developing, supervising, coordinating, and implementing Head Start and GSRP programs.
• Support quality program service delivery and ensure confidentiality of participant information.
• Train and assist staff in documentation and monitoring of health components.
• Coordinate health services with local practitioners, health departments, and community agencies.
• Participate in Health Services Advisory Committee meetings and support data collection for reporting.
• Attend community events to support agency programs.
