Abound Health is seeking compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in State College, PA. This role offers one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities, with competitive wages and a $1,000 signing bonus.

Full-time and part-time hours are available, with flexible scheduling. DSPs help develop skills, provide companionship, assist with personal care when needed, and follow care plans while documenting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift or transfer patients/equipment if needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit payroll and documentation on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
