Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with I/DD in Honesdale, PA and surrounding areas. Roles include one-on-one home-based support with flexible hours, full-time or part-time, and a $1,000 signing bonus.

As a DSP, you will help clients live safely and independently, assisting with daily activities, community participation, and documentation. Prior caregiving is preferred, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving preferred; training provided.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently in home and community settings
