Job summary

The Village in Hartford, CT is seeking a Clinician to provide direct services to children and families in home, office, school or other settings. Unlicensed clinicians receive supervision and may pursue licensure to continue with The Village.

Clinician collaborates with DCF, schools and community providers to implement treatment plans, conduct assessments and maintain clinical documentation in compliance with licensing and funding sources.

Qualifications

• MSW or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years’ postgraduate clinical experience preferred.
• Clinical degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed-eligible counseling degree.
• LMSW or equivalent required and licensed eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement.
• Determines DSM V Diagnosis in consultation with Supervisor and Medical Director or designated Psychiatrist.
• Develops treatment plans and contracts for services.
• Implements treatment plans, modifying it as appropriate during treatment.
• Discharge planning, which may include linkages to community support services.
• Provides case management services.
• Completes clinical documentation required by agency and program policies, HIPAA regulations, and funding sources.
• Maintains productivity targets determined by service.
