Job summary

The Village for Families and Children in Hartford, CT seeks a Clinician to provide direct services in office, school, or other settings. Unlicensed clinicians may work under supervision to obtain licensure and be offered training opportunities.

Key duties include assessments, treatment planning, case management, and collaboration with families, foster families, and DCF for reunification readiness and supervised visits.

Qualifications

• MSW or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years’ post graduate clinical experience preferred.
• Clinical degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed-eligible counseling degree
• LMSW or equivalent required and licensed eligible

Responsibilities

• Direct services include comprehensive clinical assessments and engagement.
• Determine DSM diagnoses in consultation with supervisor and medical director as needed.
• Develop and discharge treatment plans and contracts with clients.
• Maintain required clinical documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide case management and collaborate with bio/foster families and schools.
