Job summary

Spectrum Community Services seeks a Team Lead to support people with disabilities in the consumer's own home in West Olive, Grand Haven, MI. You will lead staff, model respectful care, and ensure a safe, healthy home aligned with each person’s plan.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean record, reliable transportation, and background clearances; 1 year of related experience preferred with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / G.E.D or equivalent.
• Valid and unrestricted State of Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete all required background clearances.
• Opportunities for Advancement.
• Most of all, the opportunity to lead and help others.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports people with disabilities within the consumer's home, as outlined in each individual's Person-Centered Plan.
• Creates a positive and supportive teamwork atmosphere and provides leadership to staff.
• Coordinates with the support team to monitor health and wellness and promotes safety in the home.
