Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work 1-1 with children in their homes, implementing behavior plans designed by a BCBA and collecting data to monitor progress.

This role offers flexible part-time/evening hours, paid training, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to positively impact families dealing with autism. Reliable transportation and strong communication with families are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience supporting children or adults with behavioral challenges, delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation to assigned locations.
• Ability to maintain client, family, and organizational confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan and report outcomes.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other parties.
• Physically keep pace with children during sessions (lifting 25+ pounds, etc.).
• Other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
