Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking AFL Professional Caregivers to support individuals with I/DD in their own homes. As independent contractors, you help clients thrive at home, work, and in the community, guided by person-centered plans.

The role requires HS Diploma/GED, 18+ years, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Training and supervision are provided to ensure success in this home-based position.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years old or older.
• Documentation of home ownership or renter’s lease.
• Proof of homeowner's or renter's insurance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Work as an Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Understand the individual in the context of their personal history and goals.
• Support meals, self-care, recreation, education and daily activities.
• Provide privacy and dignity while delivering supports.
• Assist with food preparation and home cleaning.
• Honor the person’s choices, culture and preferences.
• Facilitate transportation and scheduling of activities.
• Ensure a safe home environment and address goals in the Plan.
• Attend supervision and communicate with the care team.
