Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Service Technician for Mobility and HME equipment. You will install and service equipment to help customers stay independent and safe at home, meeting clients on-site and providing hands-on support.

This role offers a base wage with potential monthly bonuses based on branch installs, plus a comprehensive benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life and LTD.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing mobility equipment is preferred.
• Ability to educate customers on proper use of mobility devices.
• Willingness to travel to customer homes and work on-site installations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of equipment installation and repair.
• Evaluate VPL's ramps and stairlifts when needed; meet with the client at their home.
• Install equipment to provide access for the disabled.
• Provide service calls for mobility equipment.
• Educate customers in proper use of HME and other mobility equipment.
• Schedule service calls and deliveries based on work orders.
• Contact customers and provide in-home technical assistance.
• Need your own vehicle and general tools; mileage is compensated.
