Job summary

MobilityWorks in Bear, DE seeks a Home Access Installation Technician to join our full-time team. You will install and service adaptive equipment (stair lifts, patient lifts, ceiling lifts, and mobility devices) and ensure high safety and quality on every job.

Work is indoors and outdoors with regular hours; you will read blueprints, use Salesforce and manufacturer applications, and collaborate with a small, family-oriented team committed to helping customers regain independence.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and insurability for the use of company vehicles.
  • Experience in installing and servicing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and ceiling lifts.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and insurability for the use of company vehicles.
  • Strong electrical and wiring skills, including low-voltage electrical experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Background in garage doors, HVAC, or construction is a plus.
  • General construction experience is required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Salesforce and manufacturer applications.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, depending on the job requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing previously installed equipment and adaptations.
  • Conducting thorough testing to ensure the quality of installations and repairs.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting issues with equipment and adaptations.
  • Following written service orders accurately to complete tasks.
  • Upholding a high level of quality in adherence to company standards.
