Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior Field Install Technician to install accessibility products such as wheelchair ramps and stair lifts at customer residences. You will assess sites, explain the project to customers, and ensure proper installation and operation of equipment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, competitive pay of $32–$36 per hour (based on experience) with potential bonuses, comprehensive benefits, a company truck, and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction or mechanical experience is required.
• In-home installation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs is needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair accessibility products at customer sites.
• Explain the project to the customer and answer questions.
• Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway system.
• Receive manufacturer and on-the-job training (paid).
• Work on jobs throughout the San Jose area; no overnight travel.

Lifeway Mobility , a leader in an accessibility solutions, is seeking a Senior Field Install Technician to join their team in San Jose, CA.

If you have any hands-on construction/mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, installation etc.) or any in-home installation experience (cable, appliance, etc.), and can lift up to 75lbs, this is an opportunity to turn your technical skills into a career with purpose.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Install and repair accessibility products including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and more
• Explain the project to the customer and answer questions
• Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer system
• Receive manufacturer training and on-the-job training (paid time)
• Pick up and load company vehicle at the Burnsville location each morning
• Work on jobs throughout the San Jose area
• No overnight travel, occasional Saturday overtime
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team
