Job summary

Lifeway Mobility is seeking a Senior Field Install Technician to join our San Jose, CA team. Use your mechanical expertise to install and repair accessibility products and help customers regain independence and mobility.

Qualified applicants have hands-on construction or in-home installation experience, and can lift up to 75 lbs. This role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, competitive pay up to $36/hr, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction/mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, installation).
• In-home installation experience (cable, appliance, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair accessibility products including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and more.
• Explain the project to the customer and answer questions.
• Enter work order and inventory data in the Lifeway computer system.
• Receive manufacturer training and on-the-job training (paid time).
• Pick up and load company vehicle at the San Jose location each morning.
• Work on jobs throughout the San Jose area.
• No overnight travel, occasional Saturday overtime.
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team.
