Job summary

MercyOne Iowa Heart Center is seeking a full-time Monitor Tech with Holter monitoring experience to join the day shift. The role requires Iowa residency and monitors patient records to ensure accurate procedure orders and data entry. Training is provided for CRAT/ECG competencies.

Ideal candidates will have BLS certification and a valid Iowa driver license, enabling travel to MercyOne campuses as needed. The position upholds confidentiality and high-quality patient care across teams.

Qualifications

• EKG/Arrhythmia training or telemetry monitoring experience preferred, will train on the job.
• BLS certification by orientation period.
• CCA/CRAT exam within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency with monitor equipment and procedures.
• Perform Holter Monitor testing and scanning.
• Provide heart rhythm analysis and interpret arrhythmias.
• Document patient data and reports in EHR and billing systems.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians and maintain confidentiality.
