The position requires a high school education or equivalent, with preferred competence in patient care, effective communication, and the ability to interpret rhythms.

Responsabilidades

• Observes and interprets cardiac rhythms.
• Records ECG strips at designated intervals and as changes occur.
• Prints cardiac rhythm strips as needed.
• Notifies RN of all changes in rhythm and heart rate.
• Maintains telemetry records.
• Ensures proper functioning of telemetry system; troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Updates Communication Board.
• Communicates with colleagues and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
