FMOLHS invites qualified Registered Nurses to join Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Louisiana. The role focuses on holistic, patient-centered care across the continuum, including patient and family education. Licensure in Louisiana and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification.
• Proficient in English and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments that integrates changing data.
• Formulates a plan of care based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Tailors and prioritizes caring practice to individual needs, including cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs.
• Participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs.
• Responds to changes in patient's needs and provides holistic care using independent clinical judgment.
• Adapts educational programs and information to individual patients and family.
• Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care and determines immediate priorities.
• Acts as a clinical resource and mentor to health care team members.
